Prokol’s foam coatings are ideal for the furniture, medical and orthopaedic industries. These foam coatings, or soft foam coatings, are intended as a decorative and functional coating in which the characteristics of the subsurface remain tangible. A foam coating can serve as a finish, as well as a liquid-resistant intermediate layer.
For the seamless covering of furniture, Prokol has developed a flexible foam coating based on polyurea. This type of foam coating is wear-resistant and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The coating forms a supple skin for furniture as it were, which is soft to the touch. The layer thickness of the foam coating depends on the application and the type of foam.
