The enormous buoyancy of EPS makes it possible to build floating structures. However, the downside of EPS is that it is vulnerable and must therefore be protected.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h5>A special \u201cskin\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>Prokol developed a liquid synthetic for this that provides EPS with durable protection against external influences. Rocathaan Hotspray is applied as a seamless skin that is sprayed on. The quick reaction time of the product means this coating cures after a few seconds, forming a highly impact-resistant liner in a thickness of 2 to 5 mm.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The necessary practical experience has meanwhile been gained with the coating process and various floating projects have now been realised in
